2 Seriously Injured in Mead Valley Crash at Harvill Avenue and Cajalco Expressway
MEAD VALLEY, CA (May 10, 2022) – Two were seriously injured after a car crash at Harvill Avenue and Cajalco Expressway in Mead Valley.
The Riverside County Fire Department first logged the accident on Monday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 7:14 a.m.
The incident happened on May 9 when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Mead Valley. Cal Fire said they crashed at the intersection of Harvill Avenue and Cajalco Expressway.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and extricated two trapped people from the wreckage. Both sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the patients to a hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Harvill and Cajalco to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Mead Valley crash is still under investigation.
