Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle in Mead Valley
MEAD VALLEY, Calif. (June 8, 2022) — A major injury Mead Valley pedestrian accident happened Wednesday morning at Cajalco Road and Clark Street.
The collision occurred about 11:31 a.m. on June 8th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Someone called 911 to report the pedestrian went down in the southbound lanes of Clark Street. The driver stopped and remained at the scene of the Mead Valley pedestrian accident.

Paramedics responded and transported Julian Gastelum-Aldana, 78, to Riverside Community Hospital for treatment of major injuries from the crash. Sadly, he died the following day at the hospital.
Meanwhile, a tow truck responded to remove the vehicle for evidence.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the crash.
