Woman Seriously Injured in Mead Valley Hit-and-Run on Markham Street
MEAD VALLEY (January 10, 2019) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after an alleged hit-and-run accident along Markham Street Tuesday night, according to The Press Enterprise.
California Highway Patrol determined that a female pedestrian was walking along Markham Street when for an unknown reason she was struck by a vehicle.
The collision took place in the evening of January 8, west of Perris.
As per the article, the woman was left lying in the roadway with major injuries as a result of the crash. Her name and condition at this time remained unknown.

Officials were notified of the incident on Wednesday morning after the victim was rushed to Riverside University Health System Medical Center in Moreno Valley for treatment.
Meanwhile, CHP believed that the driver of the car involved did not stop after the crash and fled the scene without rendering aid to the wounded party.
