1 Killed, 1 Injured in Meadowbrook Crash at Highway 74 and Hammack Avenue
MEADOWBROOK, CA (June 28, 2o21) – A car crash killed one person and injured another at Highway 74 and Hammack Avenue in Meadowbrook.
According to an article published by My News LA, the tragic accident occurred on Monday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 1:30 p.m., just east of Lake Elsinore.
The California Highway Patrol said two cars collided for an unknown reason in Meadowbrook. They crashed at the intersection of Highway 74 and Hammack Avenue.
2 Cars Collide Near Lake Elsinore
CHP described the vehicles involved a Lexus sedan and Chevrolet Volt. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and then pronounced one driver dead at the scene.
The other motorist sustained unspecified injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel took the patient to the Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar for treatment.
The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released. Meanwhile, CHP partially closed the area of Highway 74 and Hammack Avenue following the wreck.
The cause of the fatal Meadowbrook crash is still under investigation.
