Megan Turner, 32; and Girl, 8, Seriously Injured in Calistoga Crash on Highway 128
CALISTOGA, CA (March 13, 2023) – Megan Turner was seriously injured after a head-on crash on Highway 128 near Tubbs Lane in Calistoga.
The California Highway Patrol identified the 32-year-old Santa Rosa woman as one of the drivers in the wreck which took place on Sunday.
The incident happened when Megan Turner was driving a 2020 Honda CR-V east on Highway 128 near Tubbs Lane in Calistoga. At the same time, a 2020 Hyundai Palisade was going west.
2 Cars Collide
For an unknown reason, the two cars collided head-on near the intersection. The Napa Valley Register wrote that the collision occurred on March 12 at about 5:07 p.m.
Megan Turner and an 8-year-old girl riding in the SUV sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash. Paramedics rushed them to the Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa for treatment.
The two occupants of the Hyundai also survived the incident with major injuries. Medical personnel transported them to a hospital for further aid.
Meanwhile, officers forced a portion of Highway 128 to shut down near Tubbs following the wreck. The cause of the Calistoga crash is still under investigation.
