Melissa Ann Marinez, 32, Fatally Struck by Vehicle on Rosedale Highway
Bakersfield, CA (April 7, 2021) – On March 4, 32-year-old Melissa Ann Marinez died following a pedestrian accident that occurred on Rosedale Highway.
The Bakersfield Now reported a vehicle struck the woman in the 10300 block of Rosedale Highway in northwest Bakersfield. Our sources indicated the crash took place around 7 p.m.

When medical personnel arrived at the accident scene, they found Melissa Ann Marinez with major injuries. Paramedics rendered aid to the victim, but she later sadly succumbed to her injuries and died. A postmortem examination revealed the female pedestrian died due to blunt force trauma.
Officials mentioned the driver involved in the unfortunate event stayed in the area and cooperated with the investigation process.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to work to determine several factors surrounding the deadly pedestrian accident in Bakersfield.
