MENIFEE, California (June 21, 2016) –– Six people suffered injuries Monday afternoon in a head-on crash between two drivers at Scott and Leon roads, according to a press release by the Riverside County Fire Department.
The crash took place about 4:23 p.m. at the intersection. One person was trapped in a vehicle and required extrication by firefighters upon their arrival at the scene. Five people were hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. One person hurt was a juvenile who was released to their parent at the scene of the crash.
The crash is under investigation by police to determine liability.
