Bicycle Rider Suffers Major Injuries in Car Accident
MENLO PARK, Calif. (Nov. 16, 2022) — A Menlo Park bicycle accident happened Wednesday morning on Alameda De Las Pulgas and Valparaiso Avenue near the fire station.
The car versus bicycle accident occurred about 11:35 a.m. on Nov. 16th, near the Menlo Park Fire Station No. 4, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Two or three vehicles including a Toyota Corolla struck a bicycle rider at the intersection.
Paramedics responded to help the injured rider and transport the person to a hospital for treatment of major injuries.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed at least one of the damaged vehicles from the roadway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
