MENLO PARK, Calif. (Feb. 10, 2023) — A multi-vehicle Menlo Park car accident happened Friday morning on State Route 84 at the University Avenue off ramp.
The California Highway Patrol reported the crash at 6:52 a.m. between roughly six motorists in San Mateo County.
The drivers of a red Hyundai, a black Dodge Durango and a white Toyota Tacoma pickup truck were among those involved. Also, a tan sedan reportedly spun out and hit the center divider, police said. Furthermore, a witness told CHP dispatch operators that a driver in a black SUV was “aggressive and accelerating.”
Several people suffered minor injuries in the crash and one person was having a seizure, the report said.
Menlo Park Police Department responded to the scene to help those involved. Investigators are also working to determine liability for the multi-vehicle crash on state Route 84.
Tow trucks from Jack James and Action Tow removed the Hyundai and Toyota pickup truck from the roadway due to moderate front-end damage on both vehicles.
