Several Injured in Merced Crash Near 16th Street and M Street
MERCED, CA (June 19, 2022) – Several were injured after a car crash near 16th Street and M Street in Merced.
According to an article published by the FOX 26 News, the multi-car accident took place on Saturday. The incident happened on June 18.
The Merced Fire Department said a total of five vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the city. They crashed near the intersection of 16th Street and M Street.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
Photos of the accident showed that a car came to a rest on its side between two more vehicles. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
More than two people ended up hurt as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then provided treatment to the patients for the minor injuries they sustained in the wreck.
The report did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, officers forced the area of 16th Street and M Street to shut down following the accident.
The cause of the Merced crash is still under investigation.
