Major Injury Crash at Sunset Drive and Arena Way Near Atwater
MERCED COUNTY, Calif. (Oct. 8, 2021) — A major injury Merced County car accident happened Friday at Sunset Drive and Arena Way.
The collision happened about 11:57 a.m. on Oct. 8th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP reports a Toyota pickup truck overturned and landed on its roof during the collision. Paramedics responded and transported at least one person to a hospital with major injuries. Also, it’s unknown how many people in total were hurt in the Merced County car accident.
Authorities did not mention what led up to the collision.
Two tow trucks responded to remove the damaged vehicles.
Investigators seek to determine fault for the crash.
