Rollover Crash on Santa Fe Drive
MERCED, Calif. (March 11, 2022) — A Merced crash on Santa Fe Drive happened Friday afternoon near Beachwood Drive.
The multi-vehicle crash happened about 2:32 p.m. on March 11th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported at least one person suffered major injuries in the collision including a broken right arm. The drivers of a red Hyundai and another motorist collided due to unknown circumstances. One of the vehicles overturned three times during the crash. Also, debris from the crash struck Merced Union High School school bus #46, the report said.
Paramedics transported the injured person to a hospital for further treatment.
Tow trucks responded to remove the damaged vehicles from the car accident scene. Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the Merced crash on Santa Fe Drive.
