At Least 1 Badly Hurt in Collision on Merced Avenue Saturday
Merced, CA (May 29, 2021) – One person suffered major injuries following a car accident that occurred on Merced Avenue early Saturday morning, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Officials said a vehicle overturned for an unknown reason in the 1201 block of Merced Avenue. The make and model of the car involved in the crash remained undisclosed.

Shortly after 1:30 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found at the scene at least one person with injuries. Paramedics rendered aid to the victim, and determined they sustained major trauma from the wreck. Authorities continue to withhold the name of the injured party pending confirmation.
Several factors surrounding the collision have not been discussed thus far. At this time, detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led to the car accident in Merced.
