MERCED, CALIFORNIA (April 5, 2016) – At least one person was injured after a solo-vehicle crash at East Childs Avenue and North Arboleda Drive Tuesday evening, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The accident happened at around 10:23 p.m.
Preliminary record stated that a black Chrysler sedan was traveling when it suddenly veered off the roadway and went straight to the ditch.
The cause of the collision remained under investigation. But the CHP report mentioned that the Chrysler was seen recklessly driving prior to the smash.
The force from the impact was significant, resulting in at least one person sustaining severe wounds, as noted in the incident description by the CHP log team.
A paramedic team was immediate on site to provide necessary aid.
Investigators assigned to handle the case continue to gather more evidences before pronouncing closure and citations on the incident.
