Woman Hospitalized After Merced Pedestrian Accident
MERCED, Calif. (August 10, 2018) — A woman believed to be homeless was hospitalized Thursday night following a pedestrian accident.
The collision took place on 15th Street underneath Highway 99.
Police say she allegedly stepped off a curb and in front of a westbound Toyota suffering serious injuries about 6 p.m. on Thursday night.
Paramedics were called to the scene and arranged for the injured woman to be airlifted to a Modesto hospital.
Pedestrian Accident Investigation
At this time, it’s unknown who is at fault for this collision.
