Woman Hit and Injured by Vehicle at G and 25th
Merced, CA (June 7, 2022) – A pedestrian suffered injuries following a suspected hit-and-run collision that occurred in the area of G and 25th Street.
The Merced Sun-Star News reported a vehicle struck a female party at the intersection in Merced. Our sources indicated the crash took place on June 6, Monday.
According to the article published online, the accident resulted in serious injuries to the pedestrian. Responding medical personnel rendered first aid to the victim, them transported her to the hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. The identity of the patient remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Meanwhile, officials mentioned the driver fled the scene after the incident. Investigators believed the suspect vehicle was a 2011 to 2014 gray BMW 5 series.
Detectives continue to work at this time to determine several unclear factors surrounding the pedestrian accident at G and 25th Street.
