Motorcyclist Struck, Killed in Fontana
FONTANA, Calif. (Aug. 1, 2023) — Michael Banks, 46, of Chino, died Sunday morning in a Fontana motorcycle accident at Citrus Avenue and Slover Avenue.
The two-vehicle collision occurred around 8:33 a.m. on Sunday, July 29th, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner.
Motorcyclist Hit By Vehicle ID’d as Michael Banks
The Fontana Police Department responded to crash scene on Citrus Avenue. The rider went down in the roadway, just north of Slover Avenue and south of the on ramp to the eastbound Interstate 10 Freeway.
The motorcyclist, identified later as Michael Banks, was transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment of major injuries. However, roughly an hour later at 9:21 p.m. he died from his injuries at the hospital.
