Michael Langan Benson, 27, Suspect in Injury Collision on Ash Street Tuesday
Arroyo Grande, CA (August 18, 2021) – Police arrested 27-year-old Michael Langan Benson in relation with a car crash that occurred on Ash Street on August 17.
The KSBY News reported Michael Benson was driving in the streets of Arroyo Grande Tuesday evening. In the 1200 block of Ash Street, the motorist lost control of the car and hit two parked vehicles in the area.
According to the article published online, the force from the impact caused the vehicle driven by Michael Benson to rollover. The car eventually landed on its roof.

Emergency crews arrived at the crash site shortly after the incident. First responders reportedly found two young passengers partially trapped in the wreckage. Firefighters successfully extricated the children, and checked their conditions. Our sources confirmed the juveniles sustained minor wounds as a result of the collision.
Meanwhile, investigators apparently noticed signs of intoxication on the driver. Officers then arrested Michael Benson on suspicion of DUI and felony child endangerment. Police booked the suspect into San Luis Obispo County Jail with bail set at $100,000.
Further investigation on the DUI car crash in Arroyo Grande is ongoing.
