2 Killed in Oakland Car Accident on I-80 Freeway, University Ave
OAKLAND, California (September 13, 2021) – Michael Bernardo, 46, of Hercules, and Keandre Allums, 28, of San Pablo, were both killed in a Sunday morning pedestrian accident in Oakland.
Two collisions happened one after the other about 1:36 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 12th on the Interstate 80 Freeway, just west of University Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The initial crash involved the drivers of a Chevrolet Malibu and a Dodge Durango. The two vehicles collided and three people subsequently exited their vehicles, including a female passenger. The two drivers begun to argue about the collision.
