Fairfield, CA (April 23, 2021) – 67-year-old Michael Boyce suffered injuries following a car accident on Highway 12, according to the Reporter News.

Earlier reports indicated Michael Boyce was driving a Ford Explorer on Highway 12 Thursday afternoon.

In the area near Beck Avenue, a Dodge Ram crashed into the rear of a Chevrolet Camaro. The force from the impact caused a chain-reaction collision in the eastbound side of Highway 12.

Shortly after 5:30 p.m., emergency crews arrived and found as many as six cars at the scene. Authorities later confirmed the vehicle of Michael Boyce got involved in the multiple-vehicle pileup in Fairfield.

Responding medical personnel checked the conditions of all the driver. Per article published online, Michael Boyce of Suisun City, sustained injuries as a result of the accident. An ambulance transported the Ford driver to NorthBay Medical Center for treatment.

Meanwhile, officers said the driver of the Chevrolet sadly died as a result of the collision. The name of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
