Michael Dubay, 29, Fatally Struck by Vehicle on Railroad Canyon Road Near Canyon Lake Drive Thursday
Canyon Lake, CA (June 17, 2021) – Michael Dubay, a 29-year-old man, died following a pedestrian accident that occurred on Railroad Canyon early Thursday.
According to My News LA, the male party attempted to cross the road near Canyon Lake Drive. The horrible crash happened at about 2:40 a.m.
Deadly Pedestrian Accident in Canyon Lake, June 17
Emergency teams responded to the accident scene and found the victim lying on the ground. Paramedics reportedly performed life-saving measures to the man, but he succumbed to his injuries and died. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department confirmed the identity of the deceased as Michael Dubay, of Riverside. Authorities pronounced the man dead at about 4:15 am.
The article published online mentioned the driver involved in the unfortunate event appeared unharmed after the collision. The motorist stayed in the area and cooperated with the investigation process.
Detectives continue to work at this time to determine liability in the deadly pedestrian accident in Canyon Lake.
