3 Killed in Crash are Identified by Shasta Coroner
SHASTA COUNTY, Calif. (July 12, 2024) — Michael Harvey, 56, of Redding, was killed and Daniel Bishop, 35, was critically injured in a car accident Thursday morning on Highway 273 in Anderson.
The driver of the vehicle, Stephen Arter, 36, of Redding, died at Mercy Medical Center in Redding.
The solo-vehicle crash occurred on July 11th at Happy Valley Road, according to news reports and the Shasta County Coroner’s Office.
Shasta County Fire sent paramedics to the scene and located three people with major injuries.
Michael Harvey unfortunately died at the scene. A second passenger, identified as Daniel Bishop, was treated for major injuries including a broken leg at a hospital.
The case remains under investigation.
