Pedestrian Struck and Killed in South Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (August 3, 2023) – Michael Louis Juarez, 60, died in a pedestrian accident early Tuesday morning at Vermont Avenue and Florence Avenue in South Los Angeles.
The man, who was homeless, was hit by a vehicle about 5:40 a.m. on August 1st, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The victim suffered major injuries and died at the scene, according to MyNewsLA. The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner released the victim’s name as Michael Louis Juarez.
Police responded and are gathering evidence to determine the cause of the crash.
Witnesses are urged to call police at 877-LAPD-247.
