GALT, Calif. (June 12, 2023) – Michael Mendoza Jr., 32, of Galt, died last week in a traffic accident on Highway 99 near C Street in Galt.
The multi-vehicle collision occurred around 5:30 p.m. on June 3rd, according to ABC10 and FOX40 News.
The sedan reportedly collided with a semi-truck after the smaller vehicle reportedly drove off an overpass on C Street and fell down onto Highway 99.
The truck overturned in the collision and one of the vehicles collided with a third vehicle.

Responding paramedics found Michael Anthony Mendoza Jr. unconscious. Medical personnel performed life-saving efforts on the man, but sadly he died from his injuries. The Sacramento County Sheriff Coroner identified him on its website.
Investigators continue to work on the case to determine liability for the fatal crash.
