Man, 50, Killed in Crash on Hollywood Freeway
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Sept. 6, 2024) – Michael Miller, 50, died in a pedestrian accident early Wednesday on the Hollywood (101) Freeway, just south of Hollywood.
The traffic accident occurred at around 2:30 a.m. on Sept. 4th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Police responded to the northbound side of the freeway near Vermont Avenue and located the injured man down in traffic lanes, the report said.
However, the man had major injuries and died at the scene. Authorities closed down the northbound side of the freeway to conduct an investigation into what happened.
Yesterday, the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner released the victim’s name as Michael Miller.
It’s unknown what led up to this collision, but the case remains under investigation to determine fault.
