Michael Pashley, 49, Killed in Corona Hit-and-Run on Interstate 15 Near El Cerrito
CORONA, CA (September 15, 2021) – Michael Pashley was killed after a hit-and-run crash on the Interstate 15 in Corona.
The California Highway Patrol identified the 49-year-old Santa Ana man as the victim of the fatal collision which occurred on Tuesday.
The incident began when Michael Pashley was driving an Acura SUV when he became involved in an accident with a semi-truck in Corona. The car apparently collided with the rear of the big rig.
CHP said Michael Pashley then stop in the slow lane of the southbound Interstate 15 Freeway, just south of El Cerrito Road. He exited his vehicle while the semi-truck pulled over.

A tractor-trailer pulling two gravel trailers approached and struck the pedestrian. My News LA wrote that the accident took place on September 14 at about 3:55 a.m.
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and found the victim lying on the ground. Michael Pashley died at the scene of the Corona crash.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the tractor-trailer did not stop to render aid to the man and fled the area. They are still searching for the hit-and-run driver who struck Michael Pashley.
