Apple Valley Man, 42, Killed in Crash
VICTORVILLE, Calif. (Feb. 12, 2024) — Michael Pont, 42, of Apple Valley, died Friday night in a pedestrian accident at Amethyst Road and Ironstone Avenue in Victorville.
The deadly crash occurred at around 7:58 p.m. on Friday, February 9th, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies from the Victorville City Station responded to the vehicle versus pedestrian accident and located the victim in the roadway.
Michael Pont was pronounced deceased upon their arrival.
Finally, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is heading up the investigation into the crash to determine fault.
