Michael Watson, 53, Killed in Pleasanton Pedestrian Accident on Johnson Drive
PLEASANTON, CA (February 21, 2021) – A pedestrian accident killed Michael Watson near Johnson Drive and Owens Drive in Pleasanton.
The Alameda County Coroner’s Office identified the 53-year-old Dublin man as the victim of the fatal crash on Friday night.
The incident happened on February 18 when Michael Watson was walking on Johnson Drive near Owens Drive. At the same time, a vehicle was going south on Johnson.

Police said for an unknown reason, the car struck Michael Watson. According to the East Bay Times and CBS San Francisco, officers reported the collision at about 7:40 p.m.
Firefighters along with the paramedics then responded to the scene. They found the pedestrian down on the road and suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel took him to the Eden Medical Center, where he soon died. Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver stopped after hitting Watson.
The motorist stayed at the crash site and cooperated with the authorities. The fatal pedestrian collision is still under investigation. Anyone with information can call the Pleasanton police at 925-931-5100.
