Michael Weddle, 58, Killed in Rosemont Motorcycle Crash at Watt and Manlove
SACRAMENTO, CA (April 8, 2022) – Michael Weddle was killed after a motorcycle crash at Watt Avenue and Manlove Road in Rosemont.
The coroner’s office identified the 58-year-old Cool man as the victim of the fatal wreck which took place on Friday morning.
The incident happened when Michael Weddle was riding a motorcycle in the Rosemont neighborhood of Sacramento. For an unknown reason, he collided with a truck.
Motorcycle and Truck Collide
The two crashed at the intersection of South Watt Avenue and Manlove Road. The Sacramento Bee and KCRA News wrote that the accident occurred shortly after 7:30 a.m. just south of Folsom Boulevard.
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and found the rider down on the ground. He sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon pronounced Michael Weddle dead at the scene of the crash. Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Watt and Manlove to shut down for a time following the wreck.
The cause of the fatal Rosemont crash is still under investigation.
