Motorcyclist Killed in Crash at Riverside Intersection
RIVERSIDE, Calif. (July 8, 2022) — Michael Winter, 25, of Redlands, died Thursday night in a collision with a car at at Streeter Avenue and Jerry Louder Drive.
The traffic accident happened about 8:10 p.m. on July 7th, according to the Riverside Police Department and the Riverside Press Enterprise.
A driver in a sports car reportedly made a left-turn in front of the oncoming northbound Suzuki motorcycle driven by Michael Winter.
A driver in a Dodge Charger was attempting to turn left onto Jerry Louder Drive. Both vehicles collided at the intersection.
Paramedics responded, but sadly the motorcycle rider died at the scene.
Meanwhile, the 32-year-old person driving the Dodge stopped following the crash.
The driver and a passenger in the Dodge did not report any injuries.
