Driver Killed in Crash on 110 Freeway
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (July 20, 2018) — Michael Wooten II, 23, died in a collision with a truck on the Harbor 110 Freeway in Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner.
The crash took place about 3:40 a.m. in the northbound lanes. Wooten reportedly crashed into the back of a slower-moving truck at a reported 100 mph near El Segundo Boulevard.
Wooten was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the 40-year-old Torrance man driving the truck did not report any immediate injuries.
Traffic Accident Investigation
At this time, the crash remains under investigation to determine fault.
