Michelle Harvey, 50, Killed in Hit-and-Run at California and Martin Luther
FRESNO (January 8, 2019) – A pedestrian killed after an alleged hit-and-run accident in the area of California Avenue and Martin Luther King Boulevard Monday morning has been identified, according to The Fresno Bee.
Fresno County Coroner’s Office named the victim as 50-year-old Michelle Harvey, of Fresno.
As per the article, police said Harvey was crossing California Avenue at Martin Luther King Boulevard when for an unknown reason she was struck by a vehicle.
The driver was headed south on Martin Luther King turning east on California when they hit Harvey.

Police affirmed that the woman was left lying in the roadway and suffering from severe injuries as a result of the crash. The collision occurred on January 7 at around 8:30 a.m.
She was immediately transported to Community Regional Medical Center, where she was later pronounced dead.
Meanwhile, the motorist involved did not stop after hitting Harvey and fled the scene without rendering aid. The suspect car was described as a black 2000s model Chevy or GMC SUV.
The incident remains under investigation.
