Police Seek Hit-And-Run Motorist in Pedestrian Death
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (August 19, 2021) — A fatal Mid-Wilshire hit-and-run pedestrian accident happened Wednesday night on Washington Boulevard in Los Angeles.
The deadly crash happened about 8 p.m. on August 18th near the intersection with Gramercy Place, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The LAPD is now seeking the public’s help to find the suspected hit-and-run motorist in a silver sedan. The westbound driver struck the victim in a marked crosswalk as she attempted to cross Washington Boulevard.
Woman Killed in Mid-Wilshire Hit-and-run Crash
The woman suffered major injuries in the Washington Boulevard pedestrian accident. Paramedics transported her by ambulance to a hospital where she later died. The report does not mention her age or identity.
Also, the victim’s name is being withheld until her family members are notified.
