Police Seek Hit-And-Run Motorist in Pedestrian Death

 Fatal Mid-Wilshire Hit-and-run Pedestrian Accident Washington Boulevard LOS ANGELES, Calif. (August 19, 2021) —  A fatal Mid-Wilshire hit-and-run pedestrian accident happened Wednesday night on Washington Boulevard in Los Angeles.

The deadly crash happened about 8 p.m. on August 18th near the intersection with Gramercy Place, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The LAPD is now seeking the public’s help to find the suspected hit-and-run motorist in a silver sedan. The westbound driver struck the victim in a marked crosswalk as she attempted to cross Washington Boulevard.

Woman Killed in Mid-Wilshire Hit-and-run Crash

The woman suffered major injuries in the Washington Boulevard pedestrian accident. Paramedics transported her by ambulance to a hospital where she later died. The report does not mention her age or identity.

Also, the victim’s name is being withheld until her family members are notified.

There is no further description of the vehicle available.
