Injury Car Accident on Newland Street Sunday
Midway City, CA (May 25, 2021) – On May 23, Sunday, a suspected hit-and-run car crash occurred on Newland Street in Midway City.
The California Highway Patrol group said two or more vehicles collided in the 14901 block on Newland Street. At this time, the make and model of the cars involved in the wreck have not been revealed thus far.
Shortly after 1:15 a.m., emergency teams arrived at the location. First responders found at least one person with injuries. Paramedics then rendered aid to the unidentified victim. Pending confirmation, the name of the injured party and the extent of their trauma remained unclear.

Meanwhile, the CHP log mentioned a driver involved in the collision fled the scene before police arrived. No immediate information was available on the suspect.
Detectives handling the case continue to work at this time to determine the identity and location of the hit-and-run driver. Further investigation on the case is underway.
