MIDWAY CITY, Calif. (Dec. 15, 2022) — A Midway City pedestrian accident happened Thursday morning at Bolsa Avenue and Van Buren Street.
The collision occurred about 8:28 a.m. on Thursday, December 15th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
A driver in a gray Mercedes Benz reportedly struck a person in the roadway due to unknown circumstances. There are crosswalks in all four directions at the intersection and it is controlled by traffic lights. Police did not mention if the pedestrian was in the crosswalk or not at the time of the crash.
Paramedics responded to help the injured pedestrian, but there are no further details. Also, the CHP report does not mention the age, gender or identity of the pedestrian.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Midway City pedestrian accident.
