Miguel Ajuajqui, 34, Pedestrian Killed in Car Accident
MORENO VALLEY, California (Oct. 10, 2017) — Miguel Ajuajqui, 34, of Moreno Valley was struck and killed Monday night crossing Iris Avenue and Camino Flores, according to a Riverside County Sheriff’s Department press release.
The fatal crash took place about 8:23 p.m. last night.
The Moreno Valley Police Department responded to help the victim who had been struck by a vehicle and suffered major injuries.
The Moreno Valley Fire Department and paramedics treated the victim for multiple traumatic injuries, but he died at the scene before he could be transported to a hospital.
The collision is under investigation by the Moreno Valley Traffic Reconstruction Team. The detectives closed down all lanes of Iris Avenue between Lasselle Street and Camino Flores for several hours to conduct their investigation.
