Miguel Angel, 28, Injured in Bakersfield Crash on Casa Loma Drive
BAKERSFIELD (January 21, 2019) – A man was killed and two others were injured after a traffic collision along Casa Loma Drive early Sunday morning, according to Bakersfield Californian.
The solo-vehicle accident took place on January 20 just before 4 a.m., west of Cottonwood Road.
As per the article, California Highway Patrol said the incident began when 23-year-old Jonathan Galinod was driving a GMC on East Casa Loma Drive and drove off the south side of the roadway.
The car carrying three men then slammed into a power pole and cement wall.

CHP affirmed that Galinod and the front seat passenger, 28-year-old Miguel Angel, were taken to Kern Medical hospital with injuries ranging from minor to moderate degree.
The back seat passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. Kern County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased victim as 22-year-old Jonathan Romo.
Meanwhile, the crash prompted a temporary power outage in the area. Officials believed that alcohol played a role in the incident which remains under investigation.
