Miguel Godinez, 66, Fatal Fontana Pedestrian Accident Cedar and Marygold Avenues

Fontana fatal pedestrian accidentFONTANA, California (June 27, 2017) — Miguel Angel Godinez, 66, of Los Angeles was killed Friday morning in a pedestrian versus car collision at Cedar Avenue, just north of Marygold Avenue, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner.

The fatal crash took place at 3:43 a.m. when Godinez was struck by multiple vehicles. Paramedics rushed the injured man to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, but he died at 4:22 a.m.

The California Highway Patrol is heading up the investigation into the fatality in an effort to determine fault.
