2 Killed in Crash on I-210 Freeway; Miguel Martinez ID’d
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (May 25, 2022) – Miguel Martinez, 57, of Covina, is one of two who died on the Foothill (210) Freeway early Wednesday morning in a crash between a semi-truck and a vehicle in Verdugo Hills.
The two-vehicle collision occurred about 12:08 a.m. on May 25th in the westbound lanes of the freeway at La Tuna Canyon Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Both Miguel Martinez and an unidentified man in his 40s were located underneath the vehicle following the crash with the big rig truck.
The vehicles both ended up on the freeway’s right shoulder, the CHP said.
Meanwhile, authorities closed down three lanes of the freeway due to the crash and subsequent investigation.
Liability for the crash will be determined.
