Mikayla Agee-Mathewson Killed in Truck vs. Car Accident on Highway 108
Oakdale, CA (October 28, 2020) – One person died, and two others suffered injuries following a traffic collision on Highway 108 Sunday evening.
The Oakdale Leader reported a crash between a 2015 Chevrolet Impala and a 2014 Freightliner took place on Highway 108 in Oakdale. The catastrophic incident happened on October 25, Sunday, around 7:15 p.m.
Preliminary investigation revealed 26-year-old Mikayla Agee-Mathewson was behind the wheel of the Impala traveling east on Highway 108. When the Impala approached the area near Mondo Lane, Agee-Mathewson allowed the vehicle to veer off the roadway and drive into the westbound side of the freeway.
The passenger vehicle eventually collided with the truck.
Per local news source, Agee-Mathewson suffered fatal injuries as a result of the crash. Paramedics pronounced the Oakdale woman dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, a passenger in the Impala, a 63-year-old woman, complaint of pain after the wreck. Authorities added the 57-year-old operator of the truck required hospitalization for injuries sustained in the collision.
The precise cause of the deadly traffic accident remained unknown. Given that, further investigation on the case is underway.
