Mikela Lang, 33, Killed in Moreno Valley Crash at Filaree and Perris
MORENO VALLEY, CA (July 24, 2022) – A DUI hit-and-run crash killed Mikela Lang at Filaree Avenue and Perris Boulevard in Moreno Valley.
The coroner’s office identified the 33-year-old Moreno Valley woman as the victim of the fatal wreck which took place on Tuesday.
The incident happened when Mikela Janice Lang was riding a 2012 Kawasaki Ninja 650 south on Perris Boulevard in Moreno Valley.
At the same time, a 2010 Nissan Altima was going east on Filaree Avenue. The car then failed to stop for the red light and entered the intersection.

The sheriff’s department said in the process, the Nissan slammed into the motorcyclist. The Press Enterprise and My News LA wrote that the accident occurred on July 19 at about 6:40 p.m.
Mikela Lang ended up ejected forward and thrown onto the roadway as a result of the crash. She died at the scene of the incident.
Meanwhile, witnesses stopped the 23-year-old Hemet man driving the Altima who abandoned his sedan and tried to flee on foot.
Deputies determined that he was under the influence of alcohol and drugs when he hit the rider. They arrested Byron Alexa Cifuentes Saucedo on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter with intoxication and hit-and-run resulting in great bodily injury.
Officers soon booked him into the Robert Presley Jail in Riverside in lieu of a $75,000 bail. The Moreno Valley crash is still under investigation.
