Milagros Flores and Roman Flores Badly Injured in Kerman Crash on Highway 145
KERMAN (July 7, 2019) – A traffic collision killed one person and seriously injured several others along Highway 145 Friday, July 5.
According to an article written by The Fresno Bee, Lorenzo Martinez was driving a 2006 Dodge Durango north on Highway 145 when for an unknown reason he swerved into the southbound lane.
Upon seeing the car, a tractor-trailer tank truck rig operated by 33-year-old Kerman resident Saul Seaens Lopez turned into the northbound lane in an attempt to drive and avoid the crash.
However, the Dodge slammed into the tanker and ultimately rolled over multiple times. The accident occurred just after 1:45 p.m., just south of Floral Avenue.

California Highway Patrol said a passenger in the Durango was pronounced dead at the scene. The name of the deceased victim has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
The driver and another occupant of the car suffered major injuries following the wreck. The other two people in the SUV, Milagros Flores and Roman Flores, sustained moderate injuries upon impact.
All wounded patients were transported Community Regional Medical Center for treatment in unknown condition. Their ages were not disclosed but CHP affirmed they are all from Madera.
Meanwhile, Lopez was unharmed in the fatal collision. The cause of the tragic incident remains under investigation.
