2-Vehicle Collision Near Alexander Avenue Offramp Monday
Mill Valley, CA (February 24, 2022) – At least one person suffered injuries following a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred on U.S. Highway 101 Monday evening.
The California Highway Patrol group reported two vehicles collided in the southbound side of US-101, also known as Redwood Highway. Initial records indicated the accident took place in the area near Alexander Avenue offramp.
Shortly after 8 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. First responders found a blue Dodge Charger disabled in the roadway. Responding medical personnel rendered aid to all occupants in the Dodge. According to the CHP dispatch, at least one person suffered injuries as a result of the wreck. The name of the victim, and the extent of their trauma have not been discussed thus far.

Authorities mentioned a second motorist involved in the wreck fled the scene. Preliminary investigation revealed the hit-and-run suspect was driving a black BMW car when the collision happened.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the car crash on Highway 101 in Mill Valley.
