Crash Near Soledad Correctional Facility on Highway 101
SOLEDAD, Calif. (March 21, 2023) — A two-vehicle crash involving minor injuries happened Tuesday morning on Highway 101, near Soledad Prison Road.
The minor-injury collision occurred around around 7:31 a.m. on March 21st, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP dispatch received a call from a female driver in a Honda Civic who reported a driver in a black lifted truck had hit her vehicles. There were possibly other vehicles involved in the crash that happened in the left lanes of Highway 101 near the federal correctional facility.
Firefighters responded to help those possibly injured in the collision and they located at least one person with minor injuries. They transported the person to Navidad Medical Center as a precaution.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed two of the vehicles from the roadway.
Investigators will piece together what happened and determine fault for the Soledad crash on Highway 101.
