Novar Ismailyan, 72, Killed Glendale Hit-and-Run at Glenoaks and Linden
GLENDALE (December 29, 2018) – An alleged hit-and-run driver who killed an elderly pedestrian at Glenoaks Boulevard and Linden Avenue Friday has been arrested, according to KTLA and NBC Los Angeles.
Police said 61-year-old Mira Gjura was detained on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and felony hit-and-run.
As per the reports, officials affirmed that 72-year-old Novar Ismailyan was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Glenoaks Boulevard and Linden Avenue.

She was left lying in the roadway in front of Saint Matthew Lutheran Church following the crash. The Glendale woman died at the scene.
The deadly collision took place on December 21 at around 7:20 p.m.
Meanwhile the driver of the car involved, identified as Gjura, did not stop to render aid and fled the area after hitting Ismailyan. The suspect was later found, booked into the Glendale city jail but has since posted bail.
