MIRA LOMA, California (December 18, 2015) — Two people were hospitalized Friday morning after a crash involving multiple drivers on the northbound Interstate 5 Freeway at Cantu Glleano Ranch, a California Highway Patrol report said.
About 5:47 a.m., a black 1994 Nissan Sentra, a white sedan and a big rig truck collided in the freeway crash. The CHP reported that the white car was swerving prior to the crash and clipped the truck and crashed into another vehicle.
It appears that one vehicle may have overturned during the crash and two vehicles went through a fence on the right shoulder abp. 30 to 40 feet off the roadway. Paramedics responded to help those injured and transported two people to Kaiser Hospital in Ontario to treat them for complaints of pain.
Police towed and stored the Nissan Sentra for evidence and the investigation will continue to determine liability.
