RIVERSIDE COUNTY, California (April 17, 2015) — A fatal crash was reported Friday morning on the northbound Interstate 15 Freeway, just south of the 60 Freeway in Riverside County, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
About 9:42 a.m., CHP officers say the driver of a white Honda Odyssey van, a white Ford F-150 pickup truck and four other drivers collided in the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the freeway. Paramedics responded to assist those who were injured in the crash and reported that one person died of their injuries.
Police are heading up an investigation into the crash to determine liability.
“This is a tragedy for the family of the person who died in this crash,” said Attorney James Johnson. “My condolences go out to them at this difficult time.”
