1 Killed, 2 Injured in Jurupa Valley Crash on Highway 60 at Country Village
JURUPA VALLEY, CA (June 3, 2023) – A crash killed one person and injured two others on Highway 60 and Country Village Road in Jurupa Valley.
The Riverside County Fire Department first logged the tragic accident late Saturday night. Officers reported the wreck on June 3 at about 10:02 p.m.
The California Highway Patrol said at least one car and one motorcycle collided for an unknown reason in Jurupa Valley. The two crashed on westbound Highway 60 at Country Village Road.
The car, a white Nissan pickup truck, rolled over due to the impact of the collision. One of the vehicles involved caught fire as a result of the incident.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived and pronounced one individual dead at the scene. Two other people ended up hurt as a result of the accident.
One person sustained serious injuries while the second survived with minor injuries. Medical personnel then rushed the patients to a hospital for treatment.
The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released. Meanwhile, the cause of the fatal Jurupa Valley crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the westbound lanes of Highway 60 to shut down for more than two hours near Country Village following the wreck.
