Mira Sanghera, 20, Fatally Struck by Car Near UCI
IRVINE (October 13, 2017)- According to the Orange County Coroner, a young woman identified as Mira Sanghera, 20, of San Ramon, was the victim struck by a car Wednesday evening near the UC Irvine Campus.
The incident occurred at roughly 7:54 p.m. at an unspecified street or intersection.
The victim, Mira Sanghera, was seriously injured and rushed to Orange County Global Med Center located in Santa Ana, where she remained in serious condition until Thursday evening when she tragically succumbed to her injuries at 12:41 p.m.
No details have been provided at this time regarding the cause of the accident and what exactly transpired prior to the victim being hit.
The UCI Campus Police Department is currently thoroughly looking into the incident itself as more information will soon be unveiled pending the results of the investigation.
