Man, 52, Seriously Injured in Miramar Crash on Pomerado Road
SAN DIEGO, CA (April 4, 2021) – A man was seriously injured after a car crash along Pomerado Road in the Miramar neighborhood.
The incident began when a 2008 Ford E-350 truck was going west on Pomerado Road in Miramar. At the same time, a 2017 Honda Accord turned from a southbound I-15 off-ramp onto east Pomerado.
Police said in the process, the two vehicles collided at the intersection. The impact then pushed the box truck into a signal light in the area.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene. They found the 52-year-old man driving the Honda suffering from serious injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel rushed him to a hospital for treatment of two collapsed lungs, nine fractured ribs and a laceration to his right upper arm. Officials did not release his name and condition at this time.
Police added that the operator of the Ford truck ended up unharmed. They forced the road to shut down following the Miramar crash.
